i put a 3.25 pulley on the other night. i’m not even kidding i could hear my transmission begging for mercy. i couldn’t believe the difference dropping from a 3.4 to a 3.25
i’m definitely doing a fuckin intercooler now and going for some super small pulleys

How much more PSI with the 3.25 compared to the 3.4? You seeing any knock?
going from a 3.6 to a 3.4 i think it was like 3 or 4 psi over stock… id assume the 3.25 should be between 12 and 15psi?
That sounds about right. I see 11-spiking-to-12 on my 3.4, but I’ve got a stock valvetrain. His cam and stuff should bleed off some boost. Sounds like fun, I need a 3.25 setup on my Regal.
Not the best quality, as it was taken with my Fuji 8100. I really need to invest in a digital camcorder. As you can tell it has a nice idle to it with the cutout open. Very lopey (sp?) even thought it is just a rocker car.

hahaha rockers and lope = you got misfires. it seemed to smooth out after a while though. oh how a turbo cleans up the exhaust, that sounds great
I don’t even know exactly what i’m seeing as far as boost goes, going by MAP it’s approx 10 psi which sounds about right for my setup. i did see a little knock higher up but i think it’s a lean issue (possibly running out of fuel?). 3.4 gave me about 8psi…that cam bleeds off some boost and the headers help too
everyone always told me that cam likes pulleys. man what a difference, the low end really picked up a lot too. its no secret that my cam + 3" exhaust is gonna kill low end but now it feels great at low throttle
I haven’t been on here much since we moved to State College, but I figured I would put on this vid of the progress so far. Only 10PSI in the vid. Kurt talked me into 15psi over Thanksgiving weekend, but it gave me some knock when I ran out of VP110, so back to 10-12 psi until I get a better tun on the car.

In August vs Swarzkopf’s topswaped/nitrous Monte in 90+ weather
No launch and about a 1500rpm pull out on 13 psi at 10.0 AF and it ran 13.4 @ 109.5
A bunch of us are heading out Saturday October 16th, everyone is more than welcome to join us. I’m rocking 15psi and 11.3 AF now and bring some bigger balls at the launch and hoping for 12’s.
