I find chump super competitive among the top half of the field and it’s amazing how close the pack is while having a bunch of very different cars. Chump is always tweaking the rules to try and keep it competitive and with an actual fun to drive race car that’s as cheap as it’s possible, now that we’ve been though 3 races as a team it’s a lot clearer as to why things that are a bit weird to outsiders are done they way they are done. there is always going to be cheating in racing, but our car was legal and with no mechanical problems we have a top 10 car. Spec miata or E30 would cost a lot more for less seat time, it’s possibly/hopefully where I will end up maybe 5 years from now.
