Virus on my tv???????????

Is it possible to get a virus on my tv?
The reason I ask is because it has actually happened to three of my tvs!
The screen gets a black box on it that blacks out 90% of the screen.
Sometimes there are web addresses in the blackbox too.
Other times there are random letters, numbers and charaters.
One of the tvs is not even hooked up to cable right now.
It is pretty f’ed up, I have never seen anything like it.
Is there an easy fix?

The part that is weird is that one of the tvs is not hooked to cable or dish and one of them is not even at my house, it is at work.

I can’t be the only person to experience this!!!
