Same thing happens to me! I don’t have to shut the box off though. Even if it’s just the blue screen with no text, pressing a button makes it go away for me.
Well I ask because my buudys street they are hooking up the fios lines and his TW is all fucked up, he called and asked if fios was being installed on his street.
fios has been a block from me for 3 years. fuck verizon. switched to TW for internet.
That said, TWC’s TV still sucks balls and I would never use it. Ironic since it’s supposed to be their core business.
have you ever tried calling them?? SERIOUSLY? :fuzzyfish: everyone i’ve dealth with at TWC was BEYOND RETARDED. THEY MADE ME WANT TO KILL THEM AND THEIR MOTHER FOR HAVING TO DEAL WITH THEM and their stupidity.
^ I’ve never had a problem with the customer service on the residential end. The Business Services department on the other hand is completely worthless.
I leave my box on 24/7. For about the last 3 weeks every time I turn my tv on after being off for the night/day, all I get is a blue screen - no face though. As soon as I turn the channel its fine. Fuck TW.
Its called switched video… If noone in the neighborhood is watching a certain channel, it goes black after 4hrs, and frees up bandwidth. To reactivate the channel, it takes 1 second to channel up and channel down… It takes 5+ seconds to post about how much a pain in the ass it is on a forum… lmao
Just turn the fucking box off when your done watching TV.
This is in prep for 100+ HD channels for WNY and docsis 3 in mainly fios areas.
