Vista SP2 saved me 14gb..

Just got done installing Vista SP2 on this machine (Intel Dual Core with 4gb ram)…

I also turned off all power saving settings.

The SP2 install took this machine nearly an hour to install. After installation, it did free up 14GB of hard drive space on the system drive.

They must have done a ton of fixes, the system feels much faster.

A few months to go until Windows 7, but this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

FYI- This update is not being pushed to users. You will need to run windows update, and get it manually.

You are exactly right. Not a huge issue for me, I image the drive anyways, but they didn’t spell this out in the install anywhere.

It’s funny it always take Microsoft two service packs to get something usable…
