Sorry, but that when I have to think that hard to figure out what you’re asking, I’m going to say something.
Anyway, www.testmyvoip.com See what kind of result you get there. Maybe take the time to start looking at other phone options since Vonage is about to get totally fucked by the Verizon lawsuit anyway.
Try resetting your Vonage router as well. Just unplug the power for 30 seconds and plug back in. I’ve had Vonage for almost 3 years and it had been flawless until Adelphia switched to Time Warner. Now I’m having all sorts of quality issues, but can’t prove to Time Warner it’s them. I’ve even taken my Vonage router to work and used it on our Verizon provided internet connection and it’s flawless there.
Yeah Dave- I have been having trouble here and there with mine. I loose mine altogether, when I try to call I get a message saying “this line can not connect to the Vonage network”. I can use the phone, next time there is nothing, then as soon as I try to call them, it comes back on. I have tried rebooting my phone adapter and cable modem, but doesn’t seem to help. It’s a PITA, but I use my cell more than my home phone anyways.
ha, sorry, i was typing with 1 finger. I call tech service and they are having a problem with servers and shit in the area. The damn call forwarding feature doesnt work either

Yeah same here, it just sucks that my dad is in the hospital and doctors, univera and nurses try calling and they cant get anyone at home. The call forwarding feature not working is really pissing me off

Now that I think about it, this is about the same time I started to have these problems. I never thought it being because of the company change.
At least it goes right to voicemail that you can listen to online. I know it sucks to get messages that way, but at least you are not completely missing the call.
yeah, after I move out this summer/fall, I am going to go back to a regular phone line for my dad and I am getting rid of timer warner. Hopefully I can get fios in the apartment we move into.
Got this in an email at work.
All,
Vonage has had some problems with their services today, however it should only be impacting their inbound phone service. The customers outbound ability should still work. TWC Connectivity is not a factor with this issue. FYI.
As far as today goes, my service has been fine. I just acts up periodically, it was out over the weekend for about 30mins.
we didnt have any incoming calls all day at work today. we have 4 vonage lines!
then, another person with vonage in our building had the same problem.
ALSO, what sucks is no voicemails either. it was just a busy signal and didnt even go to voicemail
 vonage
mines came back up a few hours ago
