CTC-V green-lighted

I know it is old news but I am excited to see this in January.

Wow, that wagon actually looks pretty sharp. I even like the color on it!

I like how they cancelled the Malibu Maxx and didn’t build the G8 wagon because “America doesn’t like wagons.” but green-lighted this one

CTS-V Coupe Update

According to this article they are still going to build it

+1

looks good, wondering how it performs

edit: the coupe that is

i can get down with that.

Coupe > Wagon. but still sweet!

The coupe is hot, I don’t know how I feel about the wagon though.

Old women like Cadillac and wagons to haul kids around.

coupe is hot.

I like the CTS , they are fun to drive and just feel nice and heavy … I would still rock the four door… at times I have fit 5 people total in the car … but the coup is sex’ie

I have had a new CTS for a rental car a couple times and liked it a lot.
Only bad thing is the residuals are holding like a champ, so buying a used one is not as benefical as it used to be. Plus with very little leasing there will not be a ton on 2 year old ones flying through the auction like they used to. Enterprise still has them in their fleet but I would avoid one of those unless you can get a Caddy dealer to certify it.

The temp setting and window button placement would take a while to get used to.

Lutz also confirmed that the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe was still very much in the pipeline, and noted that members of the government taskforce took special interest in the super coupe.
“When we went through design and looked at the future product, the procession stopped at the model of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe,” Lutz told us. “I think that some of these guys are personally going to buy CTS-V Coupes.”
Lutz also noted that a CTS-V Wagon is still a possibility, saying, “I think that’d be fun. I’m sure we’ll build at least one.”

That coupe is gorgeous. I really hope they go through with both.

Then Lutz said, “You know what’s really going to get you guys [on board with wagons] is the CTS-V wagon.”

“Oh, has the wagon been confirmed?” we asked, already aware that the hot-rod CTS would also be available as a coupe. “Yes,” he replied, “You’ll be able to get the CTS-V any way you want.”

Coupe looks sick

Wagon reminds me of the magnum

Wagons dominate the European market.

GM is now talking about making this a Buick regal wagon

a 335-hp, all-wheel-drive manny-tranny version of the Regal might be coming, labeled with the legendary GS badge. There might even be a wagon version of the top of the line Regal – maybe even one with GM’s eLSD torque vectoring. In fact, Lutz made it sound like GM might just import the 325-hp turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer, crank up the boost a smidge and slap a Regal GS badge on it
