A wagon would be an excellent idea for Buick.
The reason I really like this is because if these wagons do well… it gives Audi more incentive to bring over the RS6
Coupe press release came out today:
While the CTS-V Coupe bears an uncanny resemblance to the sedan, the two cars only share the instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders, and grille. The coupe is two inches shorter in both height and length than the sedan, but maintains the same wheelbase. The rear track of the coupe adds an inch to that of the sedan. Compared to the standard CTS Coupe, the V-series car has a larger grille, raised hood center, and unique fascias. The centered exhaust is retained, but there are now two outlets instead of one.

love the car, but whoever did this latest photoshoot needs to be fired.
and now for the real question that will make it or break it… how much?
well the sedan starts at 62k, so I would say in that ballpark
I just looked at BMW and the 335i coupe starts at 2 grand more than the sedan, so I guess you pay more for less doors.
The V coupe looks damn sexy!
Production CTS-V Sport Wagon The CTS-V Sport Wagon will go into production in late 2010, with initial sales in North America, followed by export markets including Europe and the Middle East. The new model rounds out the V-Series offerings, which include all variants of the CTS family’s sedan, coupe and sport wagon body styles.
Like its sedan and coupe stable mates, the CTS-V Sport Wagon is powered by a supercharged 6.2L V-8, which delivers 556 horsepower and 551 lb.-ft. of torque and is backed by either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic. A suite of technical and performance elements complement the powertrain, including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 performance tires mounted on 19-inch forged aluminum wheels.
How can Audi make their Avants look so much hotter than the sedans and GM tries and makes a 2010 family truckster pukemobile?
I saw one of the standard wagons in Atlanta this weekend. Those taillights are freakin’ Fucillo 'uuuuuge. Not too sure if I liked it or not.
not interested.
i shall stick to liking the sedans.
I think the wagon is bad-ass! I’d rock it in a second!
Want one? $62,990, including destination charges.
So, what does $63K get you other than some family haulin’ lunacy on wheels? Leather, heated seats, navigation, HID headlamps, a premium Bose sound system and Cadillac’s premium care maintenance service for four years or 50,000 miles. Optional goodies include the $3,400 Recaro heated and ventilated front chairs (you want these – trust us), $800 19-inch polished aluminum alloys, $600 for slightly fancier wood trim and $300 for suede on the steering wheel and shifter.
Realistically, you can get a perfect CTS-V Wagon with a six-speed manual and the Recaro seats for $66,390
I don’t like it
There isn’t enough glass on that rear section I think. I think if that rear quarter panel window went all the way back, it would be awesome.
edit: couldn’t get ths exactly how I wanted it, it’s a rough photoshop, but you get the idea
Spotted the CTS wagon at the gym yesturday in Peoria. They look pretty cool in person, but they are also very big.
V wagon at my church on Sunday. Found out he is a VP for Cadillac.
But yes they are big and they are heavy. On the other side of the coin, they are comfortable and they have a ton of power.
I like that ^ good call.
shits ugly
and slow
Ugly is a matter of taste, and speed is all relative.
But the thing runs 12 flat at 120 stock and has broke into the 9’s with mods. Plus it will do 190+ mph and 0-60 in under 4 seconds.
At least that is what the sedan will do.
fucking slow ass pig
:hsugh:
