It’s safe as long as you sign a waiver or something.
Waivers aren’t going to stop dudes family from suing the driver of the car the day something goes wrong and dude winds up dead.
For example if you go bungee jumping and the rope snaps and you fall to your death, i doubt that waiver covered anything about “death resulting from improper maintenance of equipment” so when it comes up in court that 'the employees of “bobs bungee jumping” hadn’t changed the bungee cord in 10 years because “it still LOOKED fine” the waiver becomes meaningless.
