I have my stock struts and springs. The rear struts are no good but the fronts are ok. If you need them you can have them. If not I’m just tossing them out!!
I’ll need the front ones for sure Jay! The backs don’t seem too bad, but the front bounces like a mofo, and not only will it not pass a safety inspection like that, it just isn’t safe.
Ok, well I’m at work from 2pm-10pm Thursday. But I’m free anytime from 8:30am till noon. If you’re not working we can meet somewhere?? Or meet on Friday I’m off all day long.

Nah, I just got back from the Dyno day and I’m wasted. I was still thinking about having some sort of parts swap later on in the day at Hawrelak park. I’ll post in the “NECC Parts Swap” thread.
Damn, i should have checked this out earlier. I just settled my car and let the insurance company keep my wreck. Well, if it’s any help, the car will be in out in an auction pretty soon if anyone wants to pitch money to get it. I think the auction was for P.A.R.T.S, or whatever auction goes through Edmonton Auto Salvage and from the crappy settlement, it looks like the car will sell for cheap. Had nowhere to store the wreck, so I let it go.
Everything mechanical worked and there were a bunch of new parts, new full brake system (calipers, rotors, pads, master cyl.), awesome winter treads (only 3 tires left), side skirts, and rear valence are good. The stereo’s in there - Monster cables, Fosgate amp, Kenwood deck, JBL subs. Oh, and it’s got an aftermarket exhaust.
Would it be possible to get a date on the car being sold? I can sell all the stereo stuff and use the proceeds for the car… 
Hell, if we end up buying the car I’ll let you drive the race car for giving us the tip! 
Yeah, I’ll try and find out on Monday when it’s going to be auctioned off. Driving that car will definitely be better than driving the '83 Olds (gas guzzler) Toronado I’ve got now. LOL The 240 was writen off 9 months ago, and i still miss driving it =(. I’m not sure if i will have a definite date on the auction because i was sort of escorted out of the salvage lot the last time i was there. The employees at the lot weren’t too happy when they saw me trying to strip car parts. Needless to say, I got escorted out when they saw my tools. That’s why i wasn’t allowed to jack the stereo, tires, and brakes. I’ll post pictures of what’s left in the ‘Your Rides’ section.
Didnt you get your car towed to your home or to a shop after the wreck? I know with mine i got it towed to a shop. It sat there till a apraizer came to check it out. I had a good month to strip it b4 he came…

no. the ex-boyfriend (who was driving - i wasn’t there) decided not to tow it home because he didn’t want to pay the $75 fee (that he would have been reimbursed for by the insurance company). So, my car ended up in a couple of impound lots until it found its new home at Edmonton Auto Salvage. Therefore, I got screwed and lost a whole bunch of parts and money…
