Want to find a job off the books

I feel as if the point is still not being clued in on.

If you just got a job off the books for extra cash, while trying to find something else for yourself, fine. Who wouldn’t? But it seems that most of us are getting the feeling of ill-intentions.

To be honest, I doubt you are actively trying to fuck the system. But hopefully this explains the comments.

So your honestly going to tell me that if you got laid off you would go take a job for less than what your unemployment would be a week just so you would be working? I find it hard to believe that anyone would do that. Unemployment is there for a reason. To help people who get fucked over, but sure there are a bunch of people out there that abuse it. I work about 50-60 hours a week so please dont call me lazy. Im just trying to make more money to support myself till i get a new job.

It would be stupid for me to go get a shitty job making less than 400 a week than it would be for me to take the unemployment that trust me i have worked for. Then just do some side things for extra cash here and there till i find a decent paying job.

Dude, I feel for you, and I am sorry you are getting laid off, it sucks. However as a taxpayer, reading this shit makes me extremely angry since MY taxes are paying for yours and many other people unemployment. You are outright saying you want a job off the books so you can scam your taxes. You want more money than the $400/week from the gov? Get a better job.
