Want to get headers..

I want headers for my 91 240, can anyone reccomend some good ones? i like a higher pitch sound out of my car rather then a deep sound…these are for a stock Ka24 de… any advise would be a help! thanks! :slight_smile:

That is nice, 12/14HP does seem like a lot

i really doubt there is 14 hp gain on those things.

PDM did headers, full exhuast, cams, etc. etc. etc. et.c and still only ever got another 40 hp, not RWHP either.

i beleive they maxed at 170rwhp which is still only 200hp at the crank = 45hp gain.

headers didnt make up the majority of that difference either.

haha even the dyno graph shows a 9HO inprovement, not bad but still not quite 14HP

Thanks…those ones look pretty sick…i think ill ask to get DC then, im also going to need a catback …casue as it stands my car has none right now…witch is illigal :roll: any sugjestions on this peice? :lol:

dont bother with headers… just do short ram intake, catback and some ignition junk…

you arent going to put down crazy power without a turbo anyways and when you do go turbo the headers will be going in teh garbage anyways.

Well see i though getting headers and an air intake would be jsut a bit more power then stock…witch is all i really needed right now…i guess my new question woule be whats the best way to increase the power…for a relitivley low cost…as in under 1000$

skip the headers. intake and a proper cat back. if u get nice shi.t then thats pretty much your 1g already.

DC Sports got on the map by being bought out by AEM and instantly gaining “cred”

Prior to that they sold a lot of really crappy Honda stuff.

The stock manifold had a collapsed runner if this header made 14 hp.

Save your torque, use the stock manifold.
