the cyl swap isnt really a smart choice for street cars min gains are seen till high rpm,s are achieved spend money elseware like a GOOD valvetrain it will do more good than the swap

haha first off… i was standing right there when he looked at it for the first time… second… the motor was junk… not built right at all. it had 305 heads with 1 truck manifold, a 500+ something lift cam that could not breath and a holley 450 2 barrel carb on a 350 bored .060 over. The lobes on the cam were smoked, my friend sold me the block for 200 bucks ( waste of money) i put 350 heads on it with an appropriate sized cam and a 4 barrel edelbrock and it blew up in a week. ran pretty good tho. haha what a piece of shit… its still sitting in my vette right where it blew up. BTW who built it who did the machine work? I dont care or anything but id still like to know who the hell thought that was a good idea. oh yea i put 2+2 together cause i have a good memory. We should meet up sometime show me the new whip… not in this weather but yea… going out to pick up a 350 in scotia for my friends maro right now so i wont be back to chat. later
yah the 350 was literally a junk yard motor the guy who owned it (salvage yard) had a bore machine in his basement (supposedly) never saw it the heads were off a 305 and i had one of my friends dad build the motor down in florida when he put the exhaust manifolds on he broke a bolt and the F*cken car was a WRECK its was a running parts car but yah i wouldnt mind meeting up this car i got a 93 with minor stuff and put down 285hp and 10 ish ftlbs its a 6 speed
