There were 3 different types of engines put in a 4th generation F body.
The gay v6 was used through out the production run.
The LT1 5.7L V8 was up until year 1997
The LS1 5.7 V8 was used from 1998-2002.

If you can get a covered car trailer to the Arrival area outside the airport. You should have his family/friends greet him inside the airport (With the exception of you as you hide in the trailer) with the NEWS doing a story on returning troops or what not. As everyone walks outside the terminal you have the crossing guard YELL his head off at everyone to step back…You fire up the engine inside the trailer and pull it out…or you wait down the road a little where he can’t see you and just pull up to the curb. Same idea, sort of.

We are still figuring out the reveal, but its been thrown around there to have a little meet for this, would anyone have there cars out in april to meet somewhere when he gets this car back, The news will be involved and we all think it would be cool to have a tun of nice cars around when it happens. Let me know, everyone would be invited and it will be pretty cool to see his reaction when he gets the car, i think he will faint. April sometime hope we can get a huge crowd.

I dont want any awards or praise, just allot of people to make this special for him. i just hope it doesnt kill him, he is going to scream like a little girl.
you deserve a little recognition for this and your freind deserves alot of praise for being so damn valiant usually you just here the soldiers happy welcome home or rarely a parade on the news or the paper but you are giving him a custom car.
Can’t wait to see the pics. I would be in for your welcome party as well.

Delivery date set in stone yet?
No he only knows he is comming home in april. So its going to be quick once we figure this all out. he wont know untill a week before hand.
I am in for the meet, the TA should be on the road by then.
