I dont know if this works for iPod’s… but I had a Dell Jukebox, and I bought a 3 dollar cable from radio shack and plugged it into an aux input on my CD player and it worked like a champ…
it does work if you have aux inputs. the OP probably does, but the big advantage to the ipod box from pioneer is that it allows you to control the ipod through the CD player. you can conceal the ipod in your glove box or something. it also charges the ipod.
