Wearing thousands of dollars around your wrist is a great way to help poor people become less poor. Watches are easier to steal than many many other expensive things.
oh i know there is worse out there, but these people took a completely “stock” president and added all the stones to it… completely ruined a nice watch.
shame about that rolex. completely disrespects the entire history of the brand in my opinion.
exactly. Today I’m working on a 2 tone GMT from 2006 1/2. Now this is a nice watch. Has the updated 3186 movement in it. Definitely one of my favorite watches to overhaul.
that’s my shit right there. nice watch.
anyone have a cheap watch winder? thinking about picking one up.
oh, where? those are nice
-edit-
found them at http://gnomonwatches.com but don’t know if they are legit, looking…
I like this jammer from the same place:
I’d like to get an Orbita, but they are pricey.
I got one from sharper image in the referb section online for cheap
couldn’t find it
Picked up another piece over the weekend.
pics?
Walter, that website is legit.
shut up
also… how many watches do you have now and why even bother getting more at this point?
i feel bad for even asking that question since i already understand the answer
i’m just jealous, ignore me.
Too many. You understand.
Todays chronoshark deal. Too blingy? Is the accutron a lower end bulova? I think it looks ok in the picture, just worried about it looking ridic. For work
I really like those, simple design, and look great. Nice pieces.
Accoridng to wiki:
On January 10th 2008 Citizen bought the Bulova Watch Company. Together they are the world’s largest watchmaker.
Currently Bulova designs, manufactures, and markets several different brands, including: the signature “Bulova”, the affordable “Caravelle”, the dressy/formal Swiss-made “Wittnauer Swiss”, and the sportier Swiss-made “Accutron”.
As for today’s watch it has a Sapphire Crystal which is a plus.
But it has Quartz movement and 40mm is not a “big” watch unless you have a small wrist.
I am not a fan of the diamonds look, but it is not a bad deal if you are looking for a watch like that.
I am usually not a huge fan of Tag’s but this retro watch is pretty cool:
The re-release will be available with a brown or blue face with coordinating perforated alligator leather strap, and bears the classic Heuer logo before TAG took over. Only 1,500 examples of the re-issue will be released, with a price tag of approximately $6,500 apiece.
