Wax preference

I was just wondering what wax everyone uses on their cars. My preference changes depending on what color car it is. For my Mustang (black) I really like Poorboy’s Natty’s Blue Paste Wax. I also just bought their Red Paste Wax but have yet to use it. For my Jimmy (white) and my Dads 325 (red) I like S100/P21S.

So lets hear the color of the car and what wax you prefer.

Silverstone Metallic Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited - Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze Line’s #26 High Tech Yellow Wax for the most part. Wax it about once a month.

Poorboy’s FTW.
Back in the spring I did on my car: Poorboys SSR2.5 (Green Edge Pad), SSR1 (Blue Edge Pad), Poorboy’s EX Sealant (by hand) and two coats of #26.

How do you like the Natty Blue? If I get a dark car, I’m sure that would be the first wax I buy.

i use adams polishes on a porter cable.

sonus or zaino

zaino, hands down, beats everything else. it is however only a polish

sonus is a polish and a wax. not as good as zaino, but is better than anything else I have ever used.

Zack, I love Natty’s. I’m a big fan of the whole poorboys line. I think I am going to try the red on my Mom car this weekend.

I’ve used zaino products before but I was felt they did not give the car that wet look. The mirror quality however is some of the best.

black car, I’ve always used meguiars gold class and love it to death

this stuff is the best i se the stuff in the can the paste

Zaino has more than just polish ya know… they have a whole line if products. :blue:
Zaino is good stuff, but it is not my first choice. Very reflective, but not enough depth.

meguiars gold class or mothers

ive always used mequiars gold class on both of my civic’s since the day i bought them

in the way of polish i like that new turtle wax ice stuff works good

I have been using the Meguiars NXT synthetic wax. It’s not as high end as what you guys use, but it’s good enough for me. I also use the Meguiars spray detailer between/after washes if I am not waxing.

Saw this in Pep Boys and had a feeling it mgiht be good. Usually the bottle with the least amount of fancy shit all over it is the one that is better. I’ll have to pick some up next time I’m out.

X2, the civic usually gets a coat of this at least once a year. Lets the cone hits come off a little easier and makes the shitty paint shine a little better :kekegay:

griots on everything ive owned

S100 on my red tC. Meguires cleaner wax on the 93 GJC (dark blue). Jeeps paint never looked that good to start with but the Megs helps a little bit. I’ve been using S100 on the tC since I got it 2 years ago and the paint still looks phenomenal.

buddy of mine got me hooked on meguiars pro products. he used #7, #21, and #26, looks amazing.
