Ok so it goes like this…
One day I’m driving downtown near the libary
My wheels then lock from the brake situation I had ezplained before(the whole time it was the booster)
Ok so all of a sudden the brakes locked at the light
So I forced the car to move
Ended up moving it then smelled nothing but brakes and clutch
Opened the hood and seen a lot of smoke
2days pass I go to turn my car on and it sounds like a starter issue
I then replaced it and still…
So today I take the starter out put my hand in the opening and felt my fly wheel loose
I droped the tranny then took the pressure plate out
The ring of teeth around the flywheel jus came apart from the flywheel…
Has anyone seen that happen b4 and that does mean I do need a new flywheel?
sounds like you melted the clutch and flywheel together when the brakes were locked up, then the starter ripped the gear ring off of the flywheel because the engine was unable to spin without moving the car.
First off, I have to say something negative before giving my input: “What the fuck? Is this a text message?” Have you ever heard of grammar, sentences, spelling and correct punctuation. Please step away from your cell phone before you also start to speak in fragments and abbreviations. That was seriously hard to read. I almost gave up, but for the sake of wanting to help I struggled onward. Every sentence did not need its own line.
Second, for the helpful banter and apology for my first comments: “I’m sorry about those rude comments, but that bothered me and hopefully that will be helpful criticism for you later on.”
To me, it sounds like that smoke was your engine seizing up. Then, as you attempted to start the motor the flywheel would be stuck in place and the starter motor ripped it apart. Does your engine turn over at all? Perhaps you seized your motor. I wouldn’t be replacing parts until I determine exactly how much damage you’re dealing with.
Just for craps and laughter, have you checked your oil dip stick? I only ask because this morning at work I heard a story about a coworkers daughter seizing their engine and discovered that she ran out of oil because she never got an oil change.
that pic reminds me of a time I got wasted, puked, then had to brush my teeth before hooking up with some chick. I brushed my teeth with clearasil. I figured it out the next morning remembering how bland the “toothpaste” tasted. Needless to say, I still got ass and my mouth has remained zit free to this day.
