starter issues' WITH FIDANZA 12LB FW..

I DONT KNOW WHY… but my car will turn over… start… but the start gear sticks or somethings rubbing! turns over with a ton of stress on the starter…

SOO… i got curious put a socket on the udp… turned the motor over by hand…

THEN realized the starters engadged… OR somethings seriouslly rubbing cause i could barely turn the motor over by hand with rachet…

SOO I removed the starter and tried again to see if the motor turns over… OF COURSE… it went smoothly… so i slap one of the 4 extra starters in and SAME THING… so im lost… it has to be the fw i would think…

anyone ever have issues with aftermarket flywheels? cause im about to rip mine out and put the stocker back in!! :rant:

i never had problems with any aftermarket flywheels on my eclipse. i had the 7lb fidenza on the 2g motor and now i have the 8lb ACT on my 1g motor

just a fyi… SPACED THE STARTER OUT 2 washer’s per bolt and she work’s perfect…

WHY? I DUNNO… but it works so thats all i care about
