Wednesday Night TMP Open Lapping Day

I’m preregistered for this Wednesday.

I like that

I’m in for Wednesday, but I probably won’t be driving on track if anyone needs a hand out there.

I will be planning to get there early. They show 4pm as when gates open, any idea when they do the drivers meeting?

They don’t have one, lol. At least not when I’ve been there. Never been tech’d either.

This is a free-for-all for the most part. Fortunately there really are never a lot of people there.

I know a handful of people going to this one. Will likely be lightly attended as usual.

P-Club people?

I’m attempting to go to this as well to shake the car down.

Sounds like we have an invasion force!

Still planning on going tonight

I am currently going though my car in prep for it. I should be leaving around 3

I’m not going.

Your loss! :oj:

Pics from tonight, great time as usual!

I’ve got to get to one of these before the weather gets shitty.

Good times and nice shots Josh. I was surprised with how well my 4000 lb pig performed out there, especially the brakes.

Looks like a great time.

The unexpected roof replacement on my house really hit the “fun” budget so I decided this year I’d pass on any lapping days. Last thing I need right now is to push the car and break something. :frowning:

Looks like you guys had a nice night weather wise (and turnout!)

Taking my street STI around for a couple laps yesterday reinforced why I shouldn’t lap it. It feels ridiculously slow compared to my race car so why beat it up.

I’ll be there Saturday with Voltron to test two small changes. Perhaps I’ll see some of you there.

I might hit this up one of the Friday/Saturday’s in October. I’m assuming this is a show up whenever sort of thing? No driver meetings first thing I need to make?

Show up earlier to get more time, but there wasn’t a drivers meeting only a brief “Hey do you know what these flags mean” comment by one of the guys there.

The guy who was flagging last time actually knew his stuff and was the first person I’ve ever seen actually care enough to flag all the cars off the track when someone was in the grass & not moving. Now that doesn’t mean anyone who driving actually knew what the flags meant… There was a guy in an S2000 who came to a complete stop right in the last turn before the straight and started to ask questions to the guy flagging… to which he responded “what the hell are you doing stopping on the track to talk?!”
