Yeah. So keep your eyes open if you’re out there. Fortunately there are so few people on track that even if there is an idiot he’s spending more time in the pits.
Yeah, I’m a bit nervous to go there from what I hear. It’s just a 3 hour drive for me and I’d prefer not to leave ass early if I can avoid it. Sounds like showing up a few minutes late it’s no big deal. Still trying to decide between this, NYST, PittRace, and the Glen or some combination.
I wasn’t nervous at all, just be alert.
To add to that if you have never been there the track is pretty much flat with no elevation changes or blind corners so you can really see ahead if someone is really slow on track. People that dont have a clue though can still be dangerous.
And the run off seems to be quite good too. Well, from what I’ve experienced so far it’s quite forgiving, lol.
Anyone up for Saturday the 19th? I’m at NYST the Friday before so depending on how that goes I might try to hit up TMP to finish out the season.

Went out last week, ill link to my in car vid.
Had a good time, drove home with a glowing turbo, grinding rear brakes, and a huge smile.
I look forward to next season already.
basically had the track to ourselves tonight… only 4-5 cars out in total.
honestly, this was better than the busy nights. No traffic, no pressure.
Also, it had rained so there was some standing water off-line but it was cool and damp overall. practising in these conditions is better than in the dry. It’s awesome to experience the track as it dries slightly with each lap. it’s easier on the car and more challenging.
i probably did 40+ laps until it got too dark
going again tomorrow… supposed to be nice out… anyone down?

My car is done for the season anyway. I usually get a feeling before something major fails on my cars and i have that feeling that if I push it now ill find out what is giving me that sense. Supposed to be getting an upgraded turbo next spring, and figure i may as well regasket the whole thing. While im regasketing may as well do new rod bearings. If im doing rod bearings i may as well redo rings and hone the block. Im going to get balls deep quickly.

i have an email and a message into them… fingers crossed.
weird… drag strip is open later this week but no confirmation on lapping… they dont answer phones or anything there either.
It seems like a no-brainier to have lapping on a day like today. Especially at $100 per car at the gate.
Bump for 2015. I should have tires on my car soon so I’ll be looking to head up during the week.
I’ll be heading to TMP during a week night sometime in the very near future.
