no its not a scam. i have done this before. i was sellin something… the high bidder fell thru and i did the second chance to the next higher bidder. he took it and i sold it for a lil lower price. just check and make sure he gave that person a negative feedback that way you are pretty sure that it really happened
the same thing happened to me but i was selling my truck the guy offered a second chance offer on my vehicle said he was in florida developing property buy it for cheaper than what the auction to said he would ship it for free because his brother worked for the shippping company and the only way to pay was through westerunion its a scam
Ya i tried to sell my dads bike on ebay and after the auction was over. (i had my phone # on the auction) I had alot of people callin saying that got a second chance offer and were try to make arangments with me to pick it up.
