My dad called me this morning, caught me totally off guard.
“Hey bud. Guess what? I just bought a new car.”
Me thinking he just got some random car, like he usually does. “Oh yea? What kind?”
" A 2007 Vette Targa, 6-speed, Burgandy."
So im like WTF dad, you didnt tell me!
Well, anyway after debating for a short while I decided. You know what? I want one too. So I just went down and test drove a C5. Red, 6-speed. 45k on her. Did a little paperwork and voila. All I am waiting on is the salesman to tell me he can give me what I want for my car and ill have it by next week.
I was in a C5 targa Vette last week, with nothing but basic bolt ons and I was very impressed with the car, and could definitely see how I could use one as a daily.
Nah, ive always been wanting my dad to get a vette again after he sold his 63 split window and i told him when he did, that I would buy one with him so, here we are.
