Back along the lines of asthma, I seem to have an attack whenever going from warm -> cold atmospheres and back to warm. (i.e. getting out of the shower, then taking dog for a walk outside late at night, then going and laying in warm bed). I usually get them more in the winter-time than summer time, unless I have a cold or something.
And cure for allergies? Get allergy shots! They are the greatest. I haven’t felt this good in years.
