Classes:
There is a $15 donation to enter your vehicle into the show. You will be provided 1 parking spot per entry, any other provisions needed must be provided by the participant.
[FONT=Calibri]1) [/FONT]”Import” refers to any car built by a car manufacturer who is based outside the US.
[FONT=Calibri]a. [/FONT]Examples are Honda, Toyota, BMW
[FONT=Calibri]2) [/FONT]“American” refers to any car built by a car manufacturer who is based within the US.
[FONT=Calibri]a. [/FONT]Examples are GM, Ford, Chrysler
[FONT=Calibri]3) [/FONT]“Truck” refers to any vehicle that is not a passenger car.
[FONT=Calibri]a. [/FONT]Examples are pickups, SUV’s, tractor trailers
[FONT=Calibri]4) [/FONT]“Pre-1950 Antique” refers to any vehicle whose year is listed as 1950 or older.
If you are unsure of the class your vehicle will fall into please ask prior to the show.
Awards:
Each class will have one award for “Spectator’s Choice (class name)” voted on by the spectators. Each class will also have an award for “Showman’s Choice (class name)” voted on by the participants of the show only. The votes will be tabulated by Basil Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac staff in a secret ballot and the results will be announced at the end of the show at 3pm.
Burnout Pit:
The burnout contest will start at 12pm and will end at 2:30pm. The cost to enter is $10. Any vehicle entered into the burnout contest will go through a short technical inspection to make sure it is in good working order prior to the contest start. It must be free of loose parts and all fluids leaks. The decision to allow or not allow a vehicle to enter the contest will be decided by Basil Chevy Buick GMC Cadillac staff the day of the show following the technical inspection and anytime during the show. Pre-enrollments will be accepted contingent on the technical inspection the day of the show. The order of the vehicles will be on a first come first serve basis. 1:00 minute time limit.
The winner of the contest will be decided on by votes from spectators as well as show participants and will be announced during the award ceremony at the end of the show around 4pm. The winner will receive 2 free tires valued up to $250 each or $500 total. The winner will be responsible for any taxes and fees associated with the prize, if any.

Fastest Tire Changer:
The Fastest Tire Changer Contest will begin at 2:30pm and will end no later than 2:30pm. The contest will consist of the contestant exchanging 2 tires off a vehicle sitting on the ground in “drive-able” condition with 2 tires stacked up next to the vehicle. Any loose lug nuts (not finger tight) will result in a 10 second penalty. The contestant will be provided with all tools necessary to complete the task. The winner will be decided by the fastest time. In the event of a tie there will be a drag race between the two contestants.
The winner or winners will receive $400 in MAC Tools or 2 $200 gift certificates. The winner will be responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the prize, if any.
