THE HID headlights came in tonight… Despite a pain in the ass install, due to having to switch the polarity of the ballasts to make them function properly… I’m very happy with the results, I can see unbelievably better at night now.
This will become my HID thread, as soon as they come in and I install them, but until then… I rode over to the ocean and took some pics tonight… I need a better camera, but for no tripod and night shots, I’m ok with how they turned out…
The first couple i was trying different iso’s to see how much brighter I could make the orange stand out and moon too…
Btw, if the space shuttle launches tomorrow and I go watch it, I’ll take pics of that too, I should be able to get extremely close (supposedly right behind mission control) We’ll see.
It was like 70 out right now, light breeze, basically perfect… minus the cops and the teenager who almost ran me off the road. (I was just cruising so no big deal, I doubt I’ll ever go out to “ride” like i used to down here… maybe just buy an SV like the cool guys. or 636 again, time will tell)
I wish the camera was better, then the noise would be reduced… oh well… I have other things I’d rather spend my money on, other than a camera. Glad to hear its starting to warm up there. I miss a lot of people…
