Yea I was looking at a D40 and i really liked it. Alot better than the one Canon I was looking at.
Camera is a AIPTEK from Target It was Something at the time when I made a Stupid Mistake and didnt have alot of money at the time. Bought it a 2-3 years ago.
Wow, ahhh well, a new camera isn’t going to buy you photography skills for one thing. Secondly, point and shoots cannon is the way top go IMO, DSLR your wasting your money if you buy any thing other than a nikon.
where at in Akron? I live in Akron and dont recognize that body of water in the pics. Looks almost like the iriqois wildlife refuge.
judging by your sig Jeg it appears the 2 of you own the same camera?
yeah but i dont think jeg was trying to make his car look good lol
the pics in my sig were taken with my old cell phone last year lol. I have better ones but I’m too lazy to resize them and make a decent sig.
i would say any camera would be better than the 1.3 megapixel one you appear to be using currently.
if you want a simple point and shoot, a cannon or casio would suit you well.
fine. canon. fuck you scott. :mamoru:
Buy a better car first?
Maybe he likes having a car he can afford :gotme:
OMG YOUR CAR IS PARKED OUTSIDE!!!
wow…you mean to tell me that you went out for a drive today TOO!!!
what are the odds!
OMG DID MY CAR GET REPOSESSED?
Nope. Still got it. Still affording it. Oh and I can even manage to build a project in my spare time.
Shut your fucking mouth, woman.
:roflpicard:
Oh hai I pay more per month than I even need to!
First of all, do yourself a favor and take those pictures down. Then change the title of this thread to simply ask for camera advice.
On the topic of camera advice…
It really depends on what you want to get into, and how serious you want to get. If you can say that you want to dedicate a decent amount of time to really putting forth effort into photography, and have some money to spend, it might do you well to buy an entry level DSLR, but I still would not recommend it considering what you are using now.
Compact point and shoots, Canon almost always takes the cake. However most of the top running companies (Nikon, Canon, Sony, Casio, Fuji, Panasonic, and NOT kodak or samsung) will be very comparable and won’t yield too many differences amongst models in the same price range. Build quality will be found with Canon/Nikon/Sony though.
Advanced point and shoot is what I’ll suggest for you. It offers all the manual functions that you can do with a DSLR, but in a more compact, and less attention needy camera. DSLRs require a decent amount of attention and care, and obviously don’t fair well when you want to go out and take pictures with friends at a party or whatever else.
DSLRs. Entry level… Nikon. Higher up… it’s a toss up. But that’s my personal opinion. I like Canon Image sensors more, they seem to be able to pick up colors better. But Nikon’s durability and lenses are awesome. Most “Pros” that I come into contact with, use Nikon.
Hope that helps.
