Went out for ///Malk...

nothing installed yet but i’m thinking of keeping the red sedan even though it’s DCT after seeing this:

Nice brakes  How’s the DCT treating you?

ughhhhhh i so approve

Just don’t go with Dinan.

I’ve grown to love and embrace red, even though it gets some hate. big  to the look above.

Red is so back and forth, if you do it right, it looks it. I have a feeling you are well on your way in the right direction.

I feel like the DTC could be fun if the car were plenty loud, so you could hear all the because racecar sounds.

X…

yup, red is one of the easiest to look bad, but when you get it just right it’s awesome. BMW always has really nice reds. I love imola and henna.

Does the DCT with this V8 make and awesome sounds when you upshift under a heavy load? I never get tired of the BRAAAP!!! when I full throttle upshift my dsg turbo audi.

it’s comfortable and easy which are both qualities i hate

but i just can’t see the right car coming through before getting the itch to put all these parts onto something.

in sport mode it does, especially when down shifting too.

i’m likely going to do something custom for exhaust, eliminate the cats, do something wicked cool then BPM tune.

Jim, I likely will go Dinan for stage 1 susp, pulley and intake.

For exhaust you should check out AC Schnitzer, sooooo much win with their products

I’m assuming you are going Dinan for dealer legitimacy??? otherwise:

oh i’m going with BPM for the tune.

the guy is all over E90post and all the M3 guys rave about him…

Btw, same thing for e39 works for e90/92. Just delete the mufflers. Great sound, no drone, comfortable at low RPM, loud at high rpm.

No, you must buy a $2K catback exhaust for an m3 that would normally cost about $500 when sold for a mustang LOL.

this. keep it simple, easy and cheap. might get shit for it but who gives a fuck, best way to go about it.

Approved. I’ve heard some good things about these guys. I had it down to bpm, velos, and eurocharged. Ended up with eurocharged… best prices for the results.

i know, it’s common to see that mod but i want to change up more of the exhaust, tips, reduce weight and increase power.

Probably going to work with Centerline and Onpoint (Sasha’s new venture) during this whole process.

some of you guys may have seen this pic i put up on FB

I picked up an ESS VT2-595 supercharger kit through Budd’s BMW and had it installed over the weekend. still in CPO warranty

No installed pics yet, going to wait another week for that. needless to say, this thing is now scary fast. like modded ZO6 fast except in a luxurious European way instead of a mullet -wearing, American shit box way… you know? like people will be jealous if you die in it kind of fast.

kit typically puts down 495-505 RWHP. I’ll probably be towards the lower end because i kept the stock mid pipe & cats. the car is very loud on cold start and has a very cammy idle to it. it’s pretty rad i guess but it’s no longer suitable for driving clients or otherwise civil people around in.

it doesnt have the lag of turbo but it also doesnt have the same feel… there is no rush of torque… it’s just all HP and if you can feel it you’re already going fast enough to lose your license.

Fugging sick.

Awesome Bing. Picking up an ESS kit hopefully this fall.

Sweet! Get this thing on a dyno.
