freakin sweet dood. I hope you enjoy is at much as your other toys
Which model? I’ve always known Dodge for strong transmissions.
+1
my dad has owned no less than 6 dodges, none of which had under 300hp, and never had a single tranny issue.
Specifically there Dodge ram series…
1990 up untill the last generation need a transmission rebuild every 75,000 miles it seems.
did it come with the inner trunk gun rack, and PA System goodness. ? Oh man you could so fuck with alot of people
what he said.
No,that stuff just adds waight to the car and decreases performance.
The only waight i will be adding to the car is a dual subwoofer box and amp in the trunk.Oh and maybe a Go-Rhino push guard.
The stock tranny can handle quite a bit of power depending on your driving. Heavy downshifts and hard launches will break any tranny. I had a 2000 GTP w/ a cam, intercooler, supercharger, headers, and around 12psi of boost with some other misc stuff and had a stock tranny. It was my DD for 4 years all year round.
because both of those don’t “decreases performance” right? :picard:
Not much no…
The PG can be useful and has proven to be useful in the past so.
Anything else?
Why not bolt on a used s/c? I like it otherwise!
I really hate every one of these ex-cop car pick ups.
Nice, what has he had?
I would imagine ex cop cars would be beat to shit no?
Everytime a cop turns a corner they hammer the damn gas to get nowhere quick.
A cop car would make a nice beater if you can get one cheap. Theyre generally well maintained, but very well beat to shit also.
Some of you guys crack me up,love your way of thinking :roflpicard:
durango SRT8 and dodge magnum R/T (just the 345hp) were the most recent, before that just some old challengers and chargers etc
he ordered a new challenger (black with black, biggest engine for 08 whatever it was). didn’t like it and sent it back. haha
He owned the only one and only Durango SRT-8 concept truck? impressive.

3800 block is very strong, 500+whp all day long with stock bottom end. The trans are kinda iffy. Input shafts like to snap and drive chain likes to stretch/break with hard launches and 3-1 down shifts.
oh man I’m so stupid, it’s the R/T. it was the last model, before this new one.
