Agreed, tuning may have been a slight part of this yes, which is why it’s going back. Never once said that it wasn’t going back. One would be stupid not to factor that in. Detonation very well is a factor in the issue, which we will deal with at EPL. If you thought I was simply putting rods in the motor and sending it back out on it’s merry way as a “band aid” fix then you my friend have some clouded judgment towards me. Forged rods in these motors are more like some small insurance against punching a hole in a $5,000 case.
This thread was simply about the motor, and the motor alone, but if you’d like me to talk about plans for modifying the injection system to multiport distribution or tuning aspects then I will do so by all means
