The Biesel:
Maybe Rocketchip Euro Stage III, PP 520 nozzles and an assortment of gauges to monitor EGT, boost, and coolant temp (stupid New Beetle has a light that changes colors indicating coolant temp)
The Haggard Old Audi:
Hopefully have it mechanically sound enough to Auto-X and Rally-X, only to break it some more :eekdance:
Maybe new summer shoes too.
I really don’t want to mod either of the cars anymore, but it is so hard not to.
Oh another nearly impossible goal for the year: not purchasing anymore cars!
get ALL new high temp couplers (autozone intake couplers FTL)
t-bolt clamps all around
ALL new gaskets for the turbo manifold and DP.
get the damn tune straightened out/figure out why its wack
finally enjoy the car in full working order and have some fun this year for once.
IF and IF all the above works out well and money is there:
meth and 14psi on the stock motor shooting for 300hp stock motor with a new intake manifold and possible get some new endtanks and SS IC piping.
ditch the hideous bodykit, and the reasoning for #6 would be euro bumpers all around, shaved door handles, ditch the door rub strips and smooth the recess for them, fresh paint, better suspension, cage, etc.
laugh my fucking balls off when i blow the fucking motor at 14psi cause i have a spare to throw in and do it all over again. then laugh my balls off once again when the second one craps out, cause by then ill have the old one already built.
somewhat realistically: make the jetta have some semblance of reliability with an economy motor swap. throw a less beat suspension on there. fix leak so i don’t swim when i drive. fix linkage so i know what gear i’m really in.
optimistically: pick up a beat ass cheap 240 to play with.
