What causes an engine to run lean

well then…get on your knees and kiss my hairy yellow ass(lol j/k) i’ll get them tomorrow…i’ve been coming in from work and it’s dark when i get in but tomorrow i’m off early enough

what year neon? Every 97 style body neon that I’ve known has leaked oil from the head gasket. Keep in mind that is only 2 cars, but it seemed common for them to start going at around 75k.

We didn’t take the best care of that car, but the oil was always changed.

oh great… you drive a neon AND you are asian?

way to rep the yellow folk.:embarassd

Any neon that’s had the headgasket done in the last 8 years or so has more than likely gotten one of the revised multilayer ones that solve the problem. Unless it was put in by a hack.

i know about the MLS head gaskets BUT i don’t know if mine had it…i’m not the first owner…the engine&car have 113k…and yes it’s a 97

cool. I didn’t know that there was a revised multilayer one. We got rid of the car 4 years ago. Is this the same neonmike from racepa?

logic, sorry I don’t have any info for your lean condition. Back on topic.
