And why no claybar??? I think that’s the most important step and it takes the least amount of time. Do it tonight!
And that paint looks very good. Once it gets to that point some kind of a work/detailing light really helps get it to 100%. I bought the green 1400watt one from Home Deopt for $80. Best money I’ve ever spent on detailing supplies. Now I can do C6 Z06’s at 1 in the morning!!! :lmao
mmmmm, i didnt claybar it because it didnt need it. the paint its REALLY smooth after just buffing it and the microfiber towels fall off it as is. i needed to claybar my mitsu though because it has cheapo factory paint. audi paint is WAY better. plus their clear is rock hard and thicker than mitsu paint.
No, one of the girls that works there.
It wasnt her fault though. It was ordered from a warehouse in MA and the wrong parts were inside.
It was her fault for not selling me the cheaper one that they had in stock though. I exchanged it today and they gave me a 20% discount on the new one that was already $3 cheaper.
the driver’s side that i’m 90% done with already looks like that, the whole car should actually look better than that if i ever get the motivation to finish detailing it.
i’m used to getting paid to work my ass off to detail cars, this is a bit different :lol
