want any vids?
Votblinfail - audi centerbore = 57.1mm now find out what the lorinser is, and order a hubcentric ring for them.
you have been in the car world how long?and ya dont know or do check that when installin wheels:thumbup
lol same for mk2’s iirc. little ass bore… us bimmer guys are 72.5 except for the e39- 74.1mm
my guess is the benzo kicks are similar to the bmw bore size.
post some pics :tongue
all kidding aside id want to see those. ive never heard of tires with bits of anything like that in them.
i had them on the altima. they sucked at everything. they were noisy, didn’t absorb bumps, had no grip when warm, cold, wet, or dry. and they didn’t have very good treadwear.
honestly? never thought that centerbore differences would cause this.
This is why god created hub centering rings.
are you serious??? :banghead
a little fyi for ya… the lugs aren’t designed to support the weight of the car/ force of the road. the hub bore is designed to do that. with out the wheels being “true” to the hub face, you are going to get all kinds of adverse effects.
most cars are extremely sensitive to vibration with out the rings.
i have seen em sheer lugs off cause of it
oh yeah, same here… didn’t want to strike fear into him though… hahah :eek
well, im back on my BBS wheels for now. my plan now is to wait for the suspension to come in, order the parts i need for maintenance, get it all installed. after a few days of the springs settling in, measure for spacer size and order those and new lug bolts and THEN get the Lorinsers on and try again. “do work”, amirite?
just get 8 and 20mm spacers, and if you dont like them, ill trade you my 15s… see how that works
idk if i can get 20mm in there after it’s lowered. 8 might be the magic number though.
dont be a girl.
I drove it to work and kept it below 3000 rpms. 30mpg city ftw.
do you mind if we try yours or are u using them on the car rite now?
i do mind. they are on my car. i try not to remove wheels when not necessary
i have to do something about the rubbing going on in my front end of the gti. i think its the axel hitting the sway. ugh!
Remove. problem solved. ask me how i know
