Got the thing ripped apart down to the LIM and reassembled only to discover that the idiot that fabricated my dual pass endplate didn’t pay attention to what he was doing, so the fitting for the coolant line hits the oil filter.
I started the car up and it sounded like it was going to explode from the IM not seating properly against the block due to this fucked up design.
Big waste of my time, all for nothing except maybe a learning experience for how to remove/install parts.
replaced the crank seal in my mini me swap and did the timing over
Bought some pepboys air fresheners.
took more parts off of it. which works against the trying to get it running idea.
