yanked the dead engine
copied the stock tune on the truck and half installed the dsp5 switch. the sun was starting to set so i decided id rap it up til tom. ill copy my dads tune tom and send them off to rob to have him works his magical powers on them hopefully by tues shell be tuned up again!
Honestly my favorite Camaro I’ve seen so far, not many wheels look good on them but these look great.
Those front brakes aren’t hurting anything either. Looks good dude.
Became extremely fed up with the heat shield rattling like Kbizz’s unborn child. Why GM decided to hold it in place with only 5 push pins between the front and rear axles, I have no idea. My solution:
Buttfuuuuuuck! I tested my fix by starting the cold engine and almost immediately revving it up. She may have burned a little oil, okay a lot of oil, but at least the rattle is gone. For now. :rofl
tuned up my amp, got the 15" IA Death Row slamming ass in there
Had a buddy replace a waterpump on the d that jiggs installed in august and failed already
Drove the daily to work with the fierce 60* V6 piston slap. Its supposed to be spring! WTF
Maybe in another 60,000 miles I’ll think about getting something else. Maybe.
installed my dsp5 switch and uploaded some tunes on it… went with:
- optimized stock/economy
- tow w turbo brake >8k lbs
- 50hp tow w turbo brake <8k lbs
- 110hp
- 150hp
tunes are amazing! the turbo brake is awesome unloaded they say its even better with weight behind it. the 110 is easily as fast as the old tuner but doesnt roll coal like the last tuner. the 150 tune will puff smoke then clean up pretty good when the boost comes in. so far i love now i need a built trans so i can run bigger tunes!
Just took the nicer one for a rip to the bank and burgerking after the kid got home. Also left the window open on the beater since yesterday, glad it hasnt snowed lol
