Hey, I’m considering bringing in an American 240. I have a cousin who is a trucker and he regularly goes to the states and said it’d be no problem for me to tag along and throw it in the back of his truck as he owns it. So, would it be worth it for me to hire a company to handle all the legal shit or should I do it myself? I’ve heard the 240’s are among the easiest to get over here but I don’t want to mess it up.
Also, anything that I may not foresee I should know about? Anybody done this here? Was it worth it? How’d it go? Any problems?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also talk me out of it if you can, be persuasive. My father has brought a us car here but it was 15-20 years ago and he thinks it’ll be worse now but it’s possible it may be worth it.
