what do you eat?

I’m going to the grocery store to supply my kitchen for the next week and i’m sick of eating the same stuff which pretty much rotates between sloppy joe, kraft mac&cheese, tuna fish sandwiches, papa johns pizza. just wonderin what you guys cook for yourselves at home. Post your favorite recipes so i can try to make them if they sound good

Chicken and rice

2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 packets of uncle bens rice (they come in those bags)
2 chicken breasts

cut up the chicken breasts into little pieces and cook it on the stove top till its done

heat the cream of chicken soup

cook the rice

put rice on a plate, chicken pieces on top of rice and pour the cream of chicken soup over it.

^^good ass shit right there. if your lazy too, you can also get ramen noodles to either eat by themselves or just ass whatever it is that you feel like to them. i usually eat chicken patties, or grill up some hot dogs/hamburgers since i’m usually only home for lunch.

try chicken qasedillas(spelling?) haha thats an easy make

oatmeal, ramen pride, lots of milk and cereal

Penne with a light Sauted Garlic and Onion Olive oil sauce

1 lbs of Penne (or whatever pasta you like, that isn’t super long like angel hair)
Some Olive Oil (quantity can vary, depending on your taste)
6 heaping Tablespoons of minced garlic (or about 2 cloves of garlic, sliced)
3 medium sized red onions
Salt
Parmesean Cheese (grated)

Brocolli can be added if you wish.

Put some oil in the pan, fry up the garlic some, let the oil soak it in. Add more if you want. (I love garlic).

Chop the onions in 1/4s. Then slice the quaters. You don’t want them too thin otherwise they dry out too easily.

Boil the Penne in water, with about 2 Tablespoons of salt.

Add the onion to the frying pan. Fry it until they dry out some (a decent amount of water will form).

When the pasta is done, drain. When drained, return to pot.

Add oil to the onion - garlic - oil mix.

fry the onion some more

Pour garlic - oil - onion mix on top of pasta.

mix well

Add some Parmesean Cheese. Mix more.

A tiny bit of ground parsley sprinkled on top and then mixed always look good too.

Mushrooms are good in this also.

Wow, Howie just might be part Italian. I suppose since so many people think I’m part Chinese, it’s only fair.

I’d add some grilled chicken to Howie’s recipe. Serve it up with some nicely toasted Italian bread with a garlic butter spread. Yum.

Kinda reminds me of the SUPER YUMMY $12.99 TGIFriday’s thing I had with Jan a couple weeks ago. We need to do that again! Too delicious!

Or, Ramen Delight :

1 pack ramen

Some spinach

1 egg

whatever meat you can find with less taste (IE chicken breast) I wouldn’t use like ham in this.

Bring water to boil.

Add noodles.

Wait for boil again.

Add soup base.

Turn heat down to medium - med high

Let cook for some.

Add spinach after soup base.

Wait about a minute.

Add meat.

Wait 30 seconds

Crack egg, drop egg in (not the shell dumbass)

Stir.

1 more minute!!!

You’re done. Enjoy.

you guys have recipes? i’d post something up but i actually rinse off my dishes off when i’m through using them so i can just pull them out of the sink later to use again. if this isn’t an indicator of why i’m not posting anything else about what i eat…

hmm that chicken and rice one sounds good. i think i’ll try that this week. howie that ramen one sounds really good but too complicated for when its just me sitting at home, i think i’ll wait till i have some company to make that one. Is it a soup though, i cant tell from the recipe if its a soup/stew or a pasta dish

hamburger/tuna helper is an easy make, as is just cooking up pasta and adding chicken or beef and alfredo or marinara sauce.

wegmans wheat bread + classic hummus + alfalpha sprouts + fake turkey = delicious.

man, whats wrong with you?

Chicken Angel Hair Alfredo

1 Box of Angel Hair Pasta
1 Package of Boneless Chicken Breasts
2 Jars of Alfredo sauce of your choice
Pam Cooking Spray

Spray a pan with Pam Cooking Spray and turn the stove onto a medium setting. Boil water and cook the Pasta as you would with spaghetti. Keep checking on the chicken, it cooks fast. When the pasta is finished and the water is drained, empty back into the original pan and add the 2 jars of alfredo sauce. I use 2 jars because it just really covers the pasta, if you use any less you won’t get as much flavor. Then add the chicken last and mix it all together. It usually makes enough to serve 3 or 4 people, or just yourself with leftovers for the week

Lots and lots of ziti, maybe throw a little chicken sausage in also.

zero i will hang you.

its not my fault you love the cock
