What would you want the US to do? We know Korea has nukes, but refuses to let anyone in to see what exactly they have. They’re fueling a missile that can reach the US, but won’t tell anyone what exactly they’re going to do with it. Even if our missile defense system has only a 50/50 chance of taking down an incoming missile I’d rather have it online in case that nut job in Korea decides to do something really stupid.
I wonder how many of our nuclear subs are sitting just off their coast, ready to completely remove that country from the map should that missile head our way.
According to a military site, there have been 7 Trident submarines off the coast of korea since the Nuclear program started. All holding 20 Ballistic missiles.
