What don't you like about your car?

Since my last thread did so well “what do you like about your car”, I thought I’d post this one.

Again I have a 02 GTP

  1. bad tint job on the passenger side and rear passenger side windows, looks good untill you really get close to it and notice th bubbles and scratches. (thanks for nothing eclips tinting)
  2. HUD dims on occasion for no reason.
  3. Very minor rust in the rear wheel wells
  4. Boring int/ext. Hopefully white gauges will help spruce up the int a little along with a set of pillar gauges. The ext will look better with new rims and spoiler but all in all this car doesn’t turn heads with its looks.
  5. Sometimes the car stalls on a cold start.
  6. Sometimes the car has to rev itself up for about 10 secs on start up.

  1. Constantly failing altanators
  2. Prone to breaking transmissions.
  3. Need stronger brakes.
  4. Very front heavy and nobody makes springs to account for that.
  5. Constantly answering the question. Why a taurus?

I wish that basic mods (I,E,H)made a difference in HP. Its hard to get power out of the without boost.
I guess the rear end could be stronger…but I would need boost for that to be an issue.
Other then that, i’m pretty happy with it. Of course there are things that I would want to do to it, but overall no complaints.

FWD. If it were RWD or AWD I would be perfectly happy with it.

shitty stock clutch… usually on evos they only last about 10-12k… but mine has lasted 30k… never launched and babied. but ive been beating the shit out of it cuz im trying to kill it, being replaced over winter

Civic 1.5L = no power and my seats are terrible.

factory US awd bias is too AWD, the euro bias is perfect and that made me have to spend money

hmmm, i cant think of anything atm that i dont like

maybe the stupid cupholders
and that my IC spray is in a weird spot and would like to move it one of these days heh

i dont’ have cupholders
as soon as i fix something, the next day something else breaks.
the linkage is messed up.
the tranny is messed up.
it’s a digifant
it has no power.
the heater core is fucked so i have a standing puddle of water in my car most days.

most importantly…it’s a VW.

I have power locks, but no button anywhere inside the car to lock and unlock the doors. Stupid Austrailians.

  1. Its longish Wheel Base
  2. Turning Radius SUCKS
  3. Need a Tad more power and LSD
  4. Long Shift Throws
  5. Starting to nickel and dime me with stupid fixes.

Other than that, Its a 4dr Sedan not a race car so I don’t complain too much about things…because I know its wasn’t made for what I do to it…

:word: that and it takes like a minute for the power seat to move up if you want to put someone or something in the back, and the trunk that they had to make twice as small in the US version cause of safety regs about the gas tank

My Mustang is slow as balls and school owns me so I can’t do a thing about it.

My transaxle is made of glass, I’ve replaced every part on the car.
