It says Honda on it.
i keep breaking shit and maxing out my essentials because i keep making more power than i expected sooner than i expected.
i keep fixing it, and finding out i have to upgrade parts again to get it to run correctly
i havent driven it running “correctly” yet in boosted form because of the above.
i cant afford to get rid of my beat body kit and chariot style wheels.
First gear is useless. Baby sized turbo. No useful side bolsters on the seats.
The ABS light just because it’s annoying
The SES light because of the damn EGR
VATS for having my car not start sometimes
No low end
Rot on my firewall due to poor construction.
-ABS kicks in way to easily.
-Seats aren’t the great for long trips.
“That shit turbo yo?”
“Turbos don’t come on the wagons”
“Who puts a WRX badge on a wagon.”
no leather, no turbos, front valance lost all the paint on it from plowing snow last week with it
This is for my 84 T/A
1- Squeaks constantly! Installed SFCs, didn’t change muche
2- The redneck/ white trash reputation these cars have with many people. i think new paint will get me out of that category though
3- Weight. There are lots of lighter cars out there, and not much I can do without hacking it up and making #2 a bigger problem
4- no cup holders- might take care of that one with a new center console
Everything else I don’t like about it I’ve either changed already or will in the near future. the damn squeaks don’t seem to go away though!
Lotus:
“That the Back to the Future car?”
“Why don’t your doors open straight up?”
“Who makes Lotus?”
“Yo, what’s that shit cost yo?”
Other than that, it feels like a hand built car in a lot of ways, and the transmission in it’s best form, is average at best. Also, while this has not happened to mine yet, all fiberglass cars are subject to spiderwebbing in certain stress areas, and I’m currently looking into doing some body to chassis reinforcements, while everything is still good. Finally, it’s terrifying to drive because, being fiberglass, if it were ever in an accident, they can be extremely expensive to repair.
MR2:
It’s black, and stays clean for about 3 1/2 seconds before it looks like it was just driven through a tornado. The 5sfe, while strong, and full of torque, feels a bit sluggish. Finally it’s terribly heavy for a car it’s size, nearly 2650 lbs. T-Tops add too much weight and are not worth having considering the drawbacks of them (water leaking, chassis flex).
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy both cars to the fullest.
You can tell how little I use my car for more than 1 or 2 person transportation by the fact that I didn’t even think of the slow seats. But yeah, they’re way too slow. I don’t mind the trunk, just because I’d rather not DIAF in a rear end collision.
VW gti.
fwd blows dick
too much bottom tourqe and not enought top end…after 4K rpms…it falls on its face…
my turbo is smaller than a goldfish…which is why above happens.
Stock hid’s are still not bright enought (i can leave on my brights and about 50% of the people still don’t flash me) Where as in the jaguar…if i have my brights on…it blinds people
Long shift throws (fixed soon due to short shift kit)
OOo s2000 time :
It snaps around very quickly if you aren’t careful.
What’s a trunk?
No lumbar support
Annoying civic kids who rev at me when they drive by

agreed 100% on those though…
300M. FWD and 33% driveline loss.
Stock hyrda-lok diff is a peice of shit, no OEM computer tuning software solutions…yet. Piggybacks suck, and standalone in a PAIN in the ass.
Oversteers a lot easier than you think.
