Maybe I do it because people that do that are usually driving like asses anyways. Especially when they want to pass me even though I’m already 10 over the limit like I usually drive.

:word: Especially if the person that flashes his/her lights is in a lifted truck that shines right into your window sitting on your ass… it’s annoying.
I flash my highbeams everytime I pass a cop to warm people. If I get pulled over for it, I’ll tell them I was warning them about a deer I seen on the side of the road that ran off into the woods!
Not bad! Or just, “I went to turn my blinker and acidentally pulled it back a little bit.”
We all know that those things are touchy… I’ve done that on accident before for real.
The other day this bitch pulled on my bumper and had his highbeams on.
I put my car in reverse just to make him tinkle.

so most of you guys flash your high beams? i usually turn the headlights off and on a couple times and save the high beams for assholes.

If you say “i was just warning of a deer, or testing them out”…and even if they could get you for something…unless the cop can prove otherwise and that you had intent to warn other drivers…you are going to be okay.

uhh, how could a cop pull u over for fashing your high beams? because technically, u would have to pass the cop first to even see him, and would have to see him to flash the high beams. so, you would technically be flashing your high beams after you pass the cop, in which case, HOW THE FUCK CAN HE SEE THAT YOU FLASHED THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE WHEN HE IS BEHIND YOU!!! just wondering…
There could be another cop… or he could be looking in his rearview…
I think if its dark out it is possible to see the change in light intensity from behind…I dunno…try it and report back
And apparently, although this may not apply to NY’ers, in Michigan it is illegal to flash anybody, anytime, from the front.

It happens in more than the passing lane trust me. I get out of the way in the far left lane if someone is going faster than needed. But when they do it the middle lane when they can just go aound the left me… that’s when I really hate it.
i do it once in a while, alot of people flick their lights back… i dont know itf its because they understand or if they are checking to see if their lights are on.
and the flashing a person to turn… i’ll do it if a person has their blinker on n arent sure if there is room or not. Its easier to see lights flash at you then a little beep of the horn or something. Of course this all depends on what kinda mood im in and if im in a rush If im just taking my time to get somewhere i have no problem letting people go in front of me… but if im late fuck the world im getting where i gotta go as quick as possible, hell ill even switch lanes so im right in front of a cop if it gets me closer to my destination
