What is with all the cops lately?

I am seeing people getting pulled over left and right … Especially in West Seneca and in Lackawanna … I saw only a few in Buffalo … and troopers galore!!!

My grampa got pulled over the other day for 34 in a 30 … ( in a school zone) but that is crazy … it was his b-day and he even told the cop that … 85 years not a single ticket … cop walks back with the ticket , throws it at him and says happy b-day…WHAT A DICK that is just rude to do to a senior …

And this one shocked me … There is a cop walking the intersection of Seneca and Harlem … walking up to every car inspecting them as much as possible while your at the red light … I saw him write two tickets while I was passing through there a few times today…

This is just crazy … are they trying to make up for the budget or something …

Anyone else seeing a lot of police activity??

They are swarming batavia and around town, I had to play loose the trooper the other day. Thank you escort 8500 for the help. I’m putting my front plate on today. Thats my $100 this year!!

Probably has to do with the budget. They will get their money one way or another.

Oh and 34 in a 30? That is such a dick move giving that ticket.

its gotta be the weekend/holiday, i passed 3 sherriff’s and like 2 or 3 troopers just coming home on lunch down boston state… troopers are nothing new, but the sherriff’s in the van doing radar kinda throws ya off… watch them fuckers, i passed one doing maybe 50 in a 45 and i had to loose him i didnt have time for morning tickets…lol…

I just came from WS… saw them out in force. Saw the cop standing where you said Seneca & Harlem… I was wondering what he was doing. Saw a bunch of cars pulled over and getting pulled over.

Like has been said… Broke state + Holiday Weekend (Expected to be the most traveled Memorial Day weekend in years by AAA) + End of the month = Cops GALORE getting everyone for everything they can find.

Nothing new to Lackawanna cops pulling everyone over. They have one of the most corrupt systems in the state.

i noticed this today as well. im sure it has something to do with the weekend.

but it still freaks me out (exhaust + black tails + no front plate)

needless to say ill be driving pretty grandpa-ish this weekend, and as little as possible.

Driving back to Western New York from Vermont tonight. I’ll be setting the cruise at 70mph on my unassuming station wagon and watching the mayhem unfold on others. Not going to risk getting a big old fine and hassle to save a few minutes of driving.
