Do it around Christmas, 2 adults and a 4 month old… Airfare alone is $1200-$1400 round trip; and that’s if we only buy 2 seats and hold him in our arms the whole flight which would be rough on the 5 hours of flying time.

Fuck snow- I’d take 40 degrees and rain all winter over 15-20 degrees and blowing snow.
warmer weather means less salt so I like that. I work outside so I am not missing the snow or bitter cold one bit. I am sure we will have 5 months om misery buys just be patient.

This is my first Winter in seven years I’m not plowing and can enjoy the snow and go snowmobiling. Am I happy there’s no snow yet? No. Do I think it’s not going to snow? No. I do wish it would at least be cold enough to freeze the ground so we don’t have to ride in mud all season. Want to do Tug and have been away for far too long. I sincerely hope it’s not some freak record warm Winter. For those of you who wish against snow…if it were that bad you’d move. Lord knows the economy’s not keeping people here. I stay here because of the Winter season and for Mike, when we do get snow, we get snow. I remember the 7 foot storm, and some others too.
I cut my lawn last week just to say I did in December (and to use up old gas before storing it.)
I also haven’t put my snow tires on yet. I think that’s the reason. If I had we’d be getting pounded.
I’m all for no snow and slush. I’ll take the rain and 40 degrees all winter long.

which i do… i miss my brothers when they are that far away and wouldnt want to be away from close family for extended periods of time.
I love how people cry about winter/cold/snow. If you don’t like it, fucking move. Otherwise, adapt. Go skiing/boarding, xc skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, fucking ice fishing. Or, sit around and bitch about it and play video games, frankly, I don’t give a fuck.
With that being said, when winter finally does set in, I won’t be bored. I could have winter 7months out of the year.
People that don’t like people who don’t like winter are amusing. They are usually more angry than the people complaining in the first place.

As for moving nahh… i have a good job a lovely girl friend and a house. To drop all this cos your a little bitch and think that people who don’t like winter should move makes laugh. that’s like telling someone if you don’t like rainy days move to the desert. ever think that someone might have more reason to stay then to leave because of a small problem.
