What Meal Replacement/Energy Drink to Buy?

So now that the good weather is going to start winding down, I won’t be able to go cycling as much, thus I will need to get myself back to the gym. I work a desk job, and I am sick of eating large lunches… Thus, I am looking for some kind of meal replacement shake for lunch. I would like to buy something that suppresses/relieves my appetite, has some nutritional value, and will get me through the day until after I get home from the gym around 7:30pm.

I know some of you work out quite a bit, so any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks,

Sam

They have some chocolate drink at Trader Joe’s with 35g of protein and only 170 calories. Pretty sweet, IMO.

These f’ers. $2.20 a can at Trader Joe’s. No idea where else you might find them.

Water.

I dont see it being healthy to allow your body to survive off nothing but an energy drink for that amount of time… eat some fruit/ vegetables in between. Your body needs food to function.

Granted that’s about 1000 calories right there, but you get the idea.

I’m a big fan of buying boxes of Cliff Bars - Builder Bars

They’re reasonably priced and have some good nutrition to them.

Carnation Instant Breakfast (chocolate), peanut butter, a banana, and ice into a blender.
