03 04 cobra
03s had some probs, 04 is where it’s at
bring your bat and your boat anchor out my way next year
Just swap a v8 into the v6 car. it should bolt right up to the k member
keep the 95 v-6, make a “plate-of-death” by direct spraying nitrous into the engine. watch it go about 300 feet, maybe more if it costs good.
if you use a 302-- turbo it and use efi
if you use a 351- punch it out to 400+ cubes and spray the piss out of it w/ carbs for injection.
5.0 H.O stroked with spray 530 solid lift cam rollor rockers 373 gears
fuck the 351 unless its a winsor
get a 302 and stroke that bitch to 347
LSX it FTW!!!
HAHAHA 530 Isnt much lift bud, hell soem stock motors have more lift then that
damm, silly hillbillies
roller rockers aint so hot either :kekegay:
the 351 has a much stronger block than the 302, more cubes, and is just as cheap to build as a 302. 351>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>302>*.chevy engine
a 351W stroked to 393 with a decent shot of nitrous would be a nice 450-500hp beast with a boatload of torque.
and what’s wrong with a 351 cleveland? In a light car, a cleveland is a very good choice.
cleveland sucks :steelers:
yes they do, but they make nice heads for fords.
stock they are
You serious about comparing 94 and 95 GTs? They are the exact same car.
correct me if im wrong(cause i might be) but i thought winsors where bored and stocked 302’s? thats why i siad a winsor is good, b/c same weight as a 302 but more cubes, but all in all…fuck those LSX>*
The 351 Windsor has the same bore as a 302- both are “Windsor” family engines, and heads swap between the two motors.
The 351 has a taller deck height and more stroke, hence the higher displacement. The 351 block is generally regarded to be “stronger”- so swapping to a 351 lets you use most of the top end components from your 302, the same induction, and you get more power from the extra displacement and extra strength from the tougher block. Win win, basically.
351 has a taller deck and is wider for this reason. the motor mounts and most pieces interchange, but the block/intake(and some other parts) are different.
but yea, sbf>sbc
ahh i c, thanks for the info guys!!!
and go to hell old timmer, SBC>*
but the block/intake(and some other parts) are different.
Exactly.
A common trick on EFI applications is to get specific 351W lower intake and hook it up to a regular 5.0 HO performance intake (TFS, Edelbrock, Cobra, ect).
