Maybe the scammer stole your info and told the seller to send it to his address instead. Then, the seller refused to send to a his address because it’s too risky, and the scammer called it a loss. I’ve also heard of people stealing info from someone they know, like a neighbor, and swiping the incoming package from their mailbox. The latter is obviously much less common.
It’s a sign that you should have an iphone, considering all the other ones are horrible.
