I just got a fucking parking ticket in the mail and the charge states…PARK MOTOR VEHICAL OTHER THAN RIGHT HAND SIDE TO HIGHWAY 2. I live leslie on some back streets. I did some research on highway 2 and i cant see any relation to me. So…whats highway 2?

Actually what Municipality was that ticket from? Was it Toronto? Or was it york? Maybe it was a typo and was supposed to be Hwy 7?

the 2 isnt referring to a particular “highway 2”. it’s just the section of the by-law that applies to the ticket.
the charge is just “park motor vehicle other than right hand side to highway”

If its a York Region parking ticket then it was actually issued by a York Region Police Officer. Since parking by-law is usually from the city or town. Do police even give out parking tickets? Also there is no Town/City of Thornhill.
