alright since were talking about our high school incidents. im still in high school and last year when i had my 626 i was doing mad burnouts with it and one time it was after school and the neighbours always complaing about kids messing around in the parking lot a neighbour comes out stares at me and then runs inside so i stopped. then i see one of my fatass teachers comeout and it just so happens when she came out i was reving my engine showing off and hten she gives me a dirty look so i peel off and came back after an amazing weekend on monday to be called down to the office the bitch worte a two page report on me and suspened me for a week. i couldnt do anything cuz i didnt have a liscense and said i did, plates didnt belogn to me either. and then since i got my 240sx i would go to the school parking lot at night and slide around a bit and do big dounuts and the caretaker is always there watching me and one night took his jetta out and put two mcdonalds tray on the back wheels and was sliding wiht me for a while pretty coool. until the survalaence camra from the apartment buildings beside my school caught us and showed it to the principle i coverted for the caretaker saying it wasnt him. and i still do my burnouts and donuts in the bakc of the school, i have my own securtiy guard now to make sure my car is nice and safe while they keep an eye on me waiting to book me for my next dumb stunt

doing stupid things in highschool, in grade 12 now…3 months ago, duroing the championship football game, i drove my accord right onto the field on the sidelines, parked it and had music blaring. sat on the hood lol.
Raced a motorcyle in hamilton, at the first stoplight, i yelled over to him “SWEET BIKE IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!” there was a cop to the right of us…i knew, the bike didn’t…he started revving…light turned green i casually accelerated. he gave it man wheelie and everything, i see a cop fly by 20 seconds later.
I saw some hot chicks waiting for the bus… so i jumped the curb pulled up to them and started talking to them, offered them a ride… they didn’t accept.
I borrowed my dads 2003 Ram, pull into the school parking lot, i do 2 complete donuts, vice principals come running after me as i’m driving away so i drive up onto the sidewalk part as they are running after me, they didn’t know it was me thank god.

well i don’t think he could have really CAUGHT the bike…right lol it was a CBRR1000 for god sakes.
since most of my friends hav FWD cars…we tried “drifting”…took one of my buddys cars a 91 civic 4dr peeled out and everything took the corner at around 60-80 kph and guess what? understeer. to make matters worse i was skidding more than drifting. the effin POS just kept sailing sideways into the curb…luckily i stopped with the wheel less than an inch from the curb…
stupidest thing i’ve seen was one of my buddys stuffing anti freeze down the gas tank cuz he thought it was used to keep the gas from freezing

he just came to canada from the philippines and down there we’re not used to no graduated licensing or insurance bullshit so soon as he came down here worked for a month bought a 3500 POS daytona, the day he was gonna take it out he bought antifreeze cuz it was already almost winter, stuffed it down the tank and tried to start it…needless to say it didnt and then he calls me asking why his car wasnt startin after adding antifreeze in the gas lol long story short he paid 3500 for an eyesore sitting in his driveway for like 4 yrs now and never even driven it
Rushing to change plugs and then wondering why the car had a lumpy idle… (5th Cyl. plug wasn’t even finger tight - oops)
Trying furiously to get the car started out behind customs for a few hours, then a few more hours at Self-Stor, only to realise it needed a new battery.
Thinking I was running really good times at FK only to find out some random chick that had never been there before pulled of a lap time a full second lower than mine (needless to say I dropped another 20 bucks on fixing that problem)
Adjusting to a twin plate clutch - it’s hard to look cool after talking about your car when you get in and stall it trying to drive away.

I was racing a guy on the 401 in a 98 VW Golf GTI I was way ahead then my speed limiter kicks in at 190km’s and then ever so slowly he starts inching by me, he is looking at me and laughing and Im like for F*** sake stupid F***** speed limiter. I just got beat by a GTI and to make matters worse I didn’t see a VR6 logo on it so im afraid it might of been a 2.0L! I bowed my head in shame and swore that after I do my swap I will take out the speed limiter from the SR and make sure the first car I kill will be a Golf GTI.
I feel your pain dude - I was closing up on a rallisport… all so happy - the 240 is so smooth at higher speeds… then I hit 190 and ummmph… then I see those guys in there looking back and having a f* pep rally in there as my car jogged back twice - didn’t want to starve it so let off the gas a bit. Happily they caught up to the back of a cop cruiser so ummm I could keep it at 188 and still wobble forward till I caught up.
I thought stock KA’s would be useless @ 190… but now I see the light… be gone friggin speed limiter :rl: (that’s gotta be a “freebie” with my swap)!
OK - got an odd n00b question (hey at least I am not bsing you about my tofu drifting skillz) without yanking the thread - did anyone ever try drifting using cruise control - of course once you get angle vs torque - no brakes - 5 spd - just power + changing angle (can it be done or will it shut it off)? :twisted:

Yesterday (friday) on the 401 goin to get my transmission i passed an old guy in a suzuki areo so he started speeding up and went past me @ about 140-150 now i have to try and catch up with him and i get right behind him and 180…i start to fall back and then up the road were stoped in traffic and i looked over and see him laughing at me, so yeah the old guy in the little areo that is faster then the 240, that was embarassing moment so far

Well 2 weeks after I got my g2 (it was boxing day 2005) I just rented a couple of games from blockbuster with my neighbour in the passenger seat. I was driving a car from my dad’s car deilership (a new impala SS, 303hp v8=understeer). So i make a left on to Kennedy road in brampton (60 km/h zone) and I hammered it after i turned the traction control off, and sooner than later i saw 170 on the speedo and I let off the gas because I had to turn soon. Just the my buddy yelled out sh1T cop! so I paniced and hammer the gas, then came up on a street and braked to make the right turn(i was turning from the left turning lane). I cut the apex perfect then dum dum dum, black ice, understeer, hopped the curb, and hit the left corner of the bumper on the right side of a brick wall. You know those ones they put at the entrance of a beggining of subdivision with the subdivision name on it. Yup.
The cop pulled up around 30 seconds later and proceeded in chewing me out. I got 6 points and carless driving. My court date is coming up and I think i might win too because he didnt have me on radar and there was black ice. Anyways the damage didnt look that bad that night (it was about 6pm). my dad came and wooped my ass in front of the cops, who didnt friggin step in, then made me walk home, which took half an hour.
the car came into the shop the next day. the fender was ripped back, the entire front suspension was torn off, the engine cradle was bent, the roof was buckled because the door and rocker panle got pushed back. every tire was flat and rims bent. front axles, new exhaust, ect… in the end it added up to 16,000 dollars damage without paint or labour. My dad decided not to go through the insurance, so I have to pay every penny, so dont say i’m spoiled lol. When i think back, i should have pulled over, and there was no way he could have given me anything on account of him not being able to prove my speed.
anyways, that’s deffinatly the most embarassing/stup thing i’ve done, for now and hopefully for a while.

You wont win… you don’t rip apart a car like that if you are driving to the conditions, and if you aren’t driving to the conditions… you are being careless.
