Ok, how about breakfast/lunch? Actually slept in this morning for the first time in ages. Woke up damn hungry. Started putting this together around 10:30. What we have here is a shrimp, bacon, jalapeno, roasted red pepper, garlic, green onion, white cheddar, mushroom, and other stuff fritatta. Fried up some fresh potatoes and red peppers on the side. Finished cooking after noon, hence the Ruthless Rye accompaniment.
It’s so fucking good I could fucking jizz everywhere
Tonight we had Homemade wonton soup, vegetable Lo Mein, and a spicy asian bbq pork shoulder. Best pulled pork outside of a smoker ever.
Tomorrow is Beef stew, just have to decide on the beer and wine that will be used.
Arrogant bastard and apothic red.

I’m about to piss off some beer folks. Getting ready to use a 2012 Goose Island Bourbon County stout for a corned beef
I’M PISSED OFF!
Just kidding, that sounds amazing.
Looking forward to results. Going to crack a Deschutes The Abyss 2012 that I got from Reval to go with it.
Ok, edited for results.
Corned beef came out excellent. Wife also made some traditional Ukranian kapusta. Sort of a sauerkraut thing, also with fresh chopped cabbage, white wine, bacon, beef broth, caraway seeds, and other stuff.
Sauce was sour cream, dijon, whole seed mustard, Millers horseradish, mayo, salt, pepper, dash of white wine vinegar.
The beer a perfect accompaniment. I waited until after I opened it to check value.
I grilled angus steaks and pan seared scallops last night…Steaks were a nice pink inside and the knife basically fell through it.
Scallops are one of my favorite meals…
Doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that right there. Looks fantastic
I’m pretty sure I could eat 100 at a time. One of my top choices from the water.
Tonight is Angus burgers…can’t wait.
I get them at Wegman’s, pan sear them in their seasoned flour for about 3 minutes on each side…tough to top that…
